sporty as ever, the star of the “12 Coups de Midi” takes up THE challenge!

We especially know the champion of the “12 Coups de Midi” as a racing addict… to the right answer. By participating in fact 153 times in the TF1 program, presented by Jean-Luc Reichmann, he has become one of the biggest winners in the game. And above all, the darling of the public thanks to his outspokenness! With his repartee and above all his incredible memory of dates and names, the young man has also, since 2020, been one of the members of “Big Heads” on RTL, a humorous and cultural program orchestrated by Laurent Ruquier. On October 12, Paul El Kharrat publishes “Welcome to my world”, published by Harper Collins, a moving autobiographical story in which he talks about his Asperger syndrome. A way for him also to denounce the intolerance of a society where it is difficult to be different.

“If you think about it, we put everyone in boxes”
Rather intellectual therefore, the young man surprises us by posting this Sunday, August 9 on his Instagram a photo of him and his loved ones in sportswear! “This morning, JSP Jeunes Sapeurs Pompiers St-Egrève team with my father Ali and my sister Louise! Good Sunday !” More than just a Sunday jog, it is indeed a question of promoting the section of young firefighters of Saint-Egrève, in Isère. A barracks open to all young people from the age of 11 defending values, as indicated on the establishment’s website, such as: honor, honesty, country, courage, dedication , discipline or even altruism, efficiency and discretion. A commitment which seems very close to that of Paul El Kharrat and which joins “his world”. On his Instagram account, the young man had not failed to describe his approach when writing his latest book, because by addressing his own Asperger’s disorder, his reflection extends to all the “boxes and labels” that the others impose on you: “In society, you are stuck at all times: you are white, black, immigrant, Catholic, Muslim, you have such a blood type, you have such a circumference of your chest, such a size of clothes, such a size of shoes … If you think about it, we put everyone in boxes, and even in several boxes at the same time. Some are necessary – let’s say they are there to help – while others are there to stigmatize. To tell the truth, we would have to see if they do not always stigmatize.” And some ideas are well worth a race… to be open-minded.
