Hold on to the oars to better cross the Seine. Gestures that have become life-saving for Marie-Pierre who is fighting breast cancer. With her illness, this 59-year-old woman followed the advice of her doctor who praised the benefits of therapy to get her body back into action. “I had a somewhat major operation and I couldn’t move my arm anymore.“, she confides.

Less pain, less fatigue. Sport is an ally alongside the treatment she takes. It is also a weapon against recidivism. Physical activity reduces the risk of relapse of breast cancer by 24% and that of the colon by 47%. The goal is to allow these women, suffering from breast cancer, in remission or even cured, to gain autonomy and strengthen themselves. The mental aspect, like the social bond, also represents essential objectives.
