Special Week of Press and Media in the school

On the occasion of the Week of Press and Media in the school, the team of “Salut l’info!” went to meet the pupils of the Jules Verne elementary school in Viry-Châtillon. On the program: behind the scenes of the podcast and their web radio, but we also talk to you about the pension reform and a rocket made in 3D.

Every week, the podcast “Salut l’info!” deciphers the news at the height of children, a program produced by franceinfo radio and Astrapi magazine. This week, on the occasion of the Week of the Press and the Media in the school, it is a special episode alongside the pupils of the class “Cap ou pas cap” of the elementary school Jules Verne in Viry- Chatillon.

In France this week, the main news is the pension reform, recently adopted without a vote in the National Assembly. Faced with this decision by the government and the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, demonstrations and strikes continue. “There are a lot of mistresses who are on strike”, remarks a student in the class. But why the mobilization continues when the reform has been validated? We explain everything to the children.

In this episode, we also talk about the release of French journalist Olivier Dubois, kidnapped by a terrorist group in Mali, Africa, in 2021. We also talk about the takeoff of the 3D rocket Terran 1 from Florida in the United States .

Behind the scenes of our podcast… and those of a great school web radio!

As in all our programs, the floor is given to the children… This week, the students of the “Cap ou pas cap” class at the Jules Verne elementary school in Viry-Châtillon ask Estelle questions about the backstage of the podcast “Salut info!”.

This week, we’re making a little more room at the “Club Salut l’info!” table, and we’re listening to our CM2 class tell us about their school web radio station Radio Verne. Their best advice, their anecdotes… Finally, we don’t forget the jokes of the children (and their teacher).

Good listening !
