Hello to you,
Having taught 32 years, including the last 12 years in French, I made it my duty to pronounce each word correctly in class. Unfortunately, by listening to the radio and television, I see that this concern is not the same for everyone. I dream of hearing a beautiful “today” well pronounced, of high “e” accents that are not low accents… Not to mention the connections which often leave something to be desired.
Our standards keep falling in my opinion. It is time to understand that if we love it, our language will only be beautiful if we agree to speak it well.
