Spare | Skyrocketing sales for Prince Harry memoirs

Sparethe memoir of the exiled Prince Harry which monopolizes media attention around the world, is selling like hot cakes.

The book has sold 1.4 million copies on its first day of sales in English in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom alone, publisher Pinguin Random House revealed.

That’s not all because Spare is published in 16 languages. In France, its title is The Alternate and we certainly haven’t finished hearing about its repercussions on the British royal family.

The French edition, which had been launched with a circulation of 210,000 copies, is the subject of a new reprint of 130,000 additional copies, Fayard editions told Agence France-Presse.

UK, Spare seems to tarnish the image of the exiled prince in California. According to a YouGov poll published on Monday, 64% of people now have a negative opinion of the Duke of Sussex, compared to just 26% with a positive opinion.
