Gradually, the restrictions are falling in Europe. Spain announced on Friday February 4 that it would end the obligation to wear a mask outdoors next Tuesday. The measure was reinstated at the end of December in the face of the wave of Covid-19 cases caused by the Omicron variant.

The government of Pedro Sánchez will adopt during the Council of Ministers on Tuesday “the decree which will abolish the obligation to use the mask outdoors”, Spanish Health Minister Carolina Darias told Cadena Ser radio. “All Indicators” sanitary “are improving, especially the occupancy rate” in hospitals and the case incidence rate justified the Minister of Health.

In Europe, several countries have in recent weeks eased the health restrictions in place. France notably ended the obligation to wear a mask outside, and telework, on Wednesday. Sweden and Denmark are preparing to lift almost all restrictions in the coming days.
