An investigation was opened after shots were fired early Friday at a residence in Candiac, on the South Shore of Montreal.
The Roussillon Intermunicipal Police Authority specifies that when its officers arrived on the scene, around 6:15 a.m., they carried out a sweep and set up a security perimeter.
Several shell casings were found at the scene, but no injuries have been reported at this time. An investigation is underway to identify the suspects.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the Roussillon Intermunicipal Police Authority and representatives of the Judicial Sciences and Legal Medicine Laboratory were dispatched to the scene.
