After taking the pulse of the French in Cherbourg, the 20 Hours heads towards the rural world. During the European election, out of 36,000 municipalities, the National Rally came first in 32,000.

South of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), a traditionally socialist land, the National Rally has just made a historic breakthrough in the European elections. He received more than 40% of the votes in Martres-Tolosane (Haute-Garonne), a town of 2,500 inhabitants. In a garage sale, it is easy to find residents whose vote has switched to the National Rally. Others are incomprehensible.

Rooted in these lands, the National Rally is attracting more and more farmers. A 59-year-old cereal farmer was one of the first to mobilize in the agricultural crisis. He campaigned for the creation of a water reservoir to irrigate his corn crops. In ten years, he has lost half of his CAP aid and is struggling to pay himself a minimum wage. This territory also lacks doctors, public services and structures to keep young people busy.
