South Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun, famous for his role in the film “Parasite” which won the 2020 Oscars, was found dead in conditions akin to suicide, the agency reported on Wednesday. South Korean Yonhap press.

The 48-year-old actor was found inside a vehicle in the center of the capital Seoul, with a lit charcoal briquette next to him, Yonhap said, citing police.
Lee Sun-kyun was under police investigation on suspicion of using cannabis and other psychotropic drugs.
This scandal tarnished his image as a successful actor, depriving him of television appearances and advertising contracts, according to several South Korean media.
