The influential and unmissable South by Southwest (SXSW) festival is exporting from Texas to launch another showcase in Sydney, Australia.

SXSW Sydney will take place from October 15 to October 22, 2023. It will attract artists and speakers from the fields of music, film, video games and multimedia.
This will be the first time that South by Southwest, founded in 1987, will take place outside of North America.
Of course, SXSW will still take place in Austin next spring.
Last March, public figures such as Childish Gambino, Beck, Michelle Yeoh, Nicolas Cage, Magic Johnson, Chloe Sevigny, Shawn Mendes and Nathaniel Rateliff took part, whether to present a film, give a conference or perform in spectacle. From Quebec, there was notably the Paupière group and director Vincent Morisset, a regular at SXSW.
