Sophie Thalmann: XXL hat for the Prix de Diane, an actress from Here it all begins makes the show

It’s an almost British atmosphere that was displayed on Chantilly, in the Paris region this Sunday. The horse capital of the world, it hosted the Prix de Diane Longines, a very prestigious horse show that almost gave the impression of being at Royal Ascot last week.

It must be said that the guests had made almost as much effort on the look by accepting the very particular dress code of the event, where the hat is recommended. A sometimes unusual hat, like the one worn by former Miss France Sophie Thalmann. Married to jockey Christophe Soumillon since 2006, the forty-year-old has always been passionate about horse riding and regularly goes to Chantilly for the Prix de Diane.

Dressed in a purple blouse with flowers and equally spring-like trousers, she had on her head a huge flowered hat of the same lilac color and presented the prize for elegance. No traces, however, of her husband or their three children, Charlie, 16, Mika, 13 and Robin, 5. But if his hat was very original, others tried to steal the show!

Indeed, Catherine Davydzenka, who plays Hortense Rochemont in the series Here it all starts had chosen a very large nude-colored hat signed Courtois, which went perfectly with her white dress. Magnificent, she paraded in the hippodrome where others shone like Agathe Maksimova, who had also chosen a huge headgear, almost similar to a giant poppy! But the one who wore the fascinator perfectly was of course the British dancer Jaclyn Spencer, who honored her country on the arm of her companion, the sparkling Chris Marques.

As a couple or as a family

Other television personalities had come to admire the show under the Parisian sun: Justine Piluso from Top chef met the presenter Xavier de Moulins, who came without his wife, the journalist Anaïs Bouton. Djamel Bentenah, buyer in the show Affaires Conclues was accompanied by his wife, as was former minister Eric Woerth. Two former Misses were finally there: Lara Gautier, former Miss Côte d’Azur, met her ex-colleague Ophély Vezino.

Finally, many actors had made the trip to the Oise for this exceptional day: Déborah François had also chosen a huge hat. Guillaume de Tonquédec, strict father of the series Do not do this, do not do thatmeanwhile made a rare family outing: photographed with his wife Christèle, he was also accompanied by two of his three children, Amaury and Victoire.

Jean-Baptiste Maunier, well hidden behind his sunglasses, had come without his companion Léa Arnezeder, just like Alban Lenoir, relaxed. Gaïa Weiss, in a total black look, was sublime, and was able to meet the young mother Marie-Ange Casta, whose husband Marc Antoine Le Bret had to stay at home with their daughters, on this Father’s Day.
