Sophie Marceau talks crudely about sex… when the reality is quite different!

After “LOL” in 2008 and “A meeting” in 2014, Sophie Marceau shot a third time under the direction of director Lisa Azuelos for the film “I Love America”. In this feature film which will be available from this Friday March 11 on Amazon Prime Video, Sophie Marceau plays the role of a young single woman who decides to drop everything to go in search of love in Los Angeles.

On the occasion of the release of the film, Sophie Marceau returned to her own romantic experiences in an interview with Télé Star. “To compose my character, we talked a lot together about abandonment, the fear of love, the difficulty of attaching to others, the fact of not feeling accomplished. with the tools we have. All of this resonates with me.” said the actress.

According to her, finding love after 50 is possible: “Anything can happen at 50, provided you don’t have too many burdens on your shoulders, understand the mistakes of the past and know where you are” she assures. In a relationship for nearly two years with theater producer Richard Caillat, Sophie Marceau addressed the issue of dating sites: “Do you see me on a dating site, frankly? If I hadn’t been Sophie Marceau, would you I would have gone on a dating site? A priori, this is not the thing that excites me! Afterwards, it is possible to find love on the networks! It depends on what you are looking for. What matters is not to withdraw into oneself. There really are people, even very coveted ones, who suffer from loneliness.”

Finally, the pretty brunette explained that she is not like her character who talks about sex in a very raw way: “I am a very modest person, I rather use chastened words. I like to talk about it freely. and laugh about it in general, but talking about my sexuality with others? No way! It’s too intimate.”
