True muse of Lisa Azuelos, Sophie Marceau is the heroine of the director’s new film, I Love America, which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime from March 11, 2022. It is an ambitious project, and at the same time very personal, that the two cinephiles completed together. The feature film, inspired by real events, tells the story of Lisa, daughter of a celebrity and single mother of grown children who leaves Paris to go to Los Angeles, in search of love… but also in search of forgiveness, she who had such a strained relationship with her deceased mother.
This synopsis is reminiscent of the life of Lisa Azuelos, daughter of Marie Laforêt – who died on November 2, 2019 at the age of 80 – and that of Sophie Marceau, single mother of Vincent Zulawski, born in 1995 and Juliette Lemley, born in 2002 …who have both left the nest. “It’s in order of thingsexplains the 55-year-old actress to Star TV.
