One of the first screenings of Without you is done at Rex in Sarlat, the day of the film’s release in the cinema. Sophie guillemin says that she knows the establishment, because she is part of the cast of the TV movie directed by Fabien Onteniente, with Mathilde Seigner filmed in Dordogne and which will soon be broadcast on France 2.
We met those who take care of the Rex, we loved this cinema which we found warm. We liked the idea of a cinema that allows people, beyond showing films, to be a real place of exchange. We really wanted to come back and present the film there – Sophie Guillemin
In Without you, Thierry godard, which we saw in Gears or more recently in Germinal, plays Antoine. His character receives a phone call, “a simple breath” and goes to the other side of the world in search of a woman he has loved. He thinks she was the one who called.
After several previews, “people are completely in the emotion, extremely touched” says Thierry Godard, who finds “super important” to meet the public after a screening.
