The photo taken at night which shows her on a beach, from behind, walking towards the dark sea through the waves can serve as a metaphor for the year 2023 for Sophie Grégoire Trudeau; she experienced difficult times separating from the father of her children, Justin Trudeau.
“I love the life. Always! You teach me so much. It is with a heavy heart, but filled with love, that I say goodbye to 2023. Life is filled with different chapters. May the next one be marked by adventure, creativity, courage, friendship and generosity,” she wrote in her Instagram publication on 1er January.

The 48-year-old personality wanted to thank the people who have “guided and supported her over the past year”.
“Thank you to all of you who have been kind, patient, compassionate and fiercely gracious to me and to this world,” she also said, in the English part of her bilingual publication.

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau will publish a personal development book entitled Between us, Know each other better, love each other better, on April 23, 2024.
