Guest on the set of the show As an aside(Canal +) this Monday, December 18, 2023, Sophie Davant looked back on the beginnings of her career. In fact, the former presenter ofDeal Done mentioned his collaboration with the man who is today his other half: William Leymergie.
And for good reason, it was alongside the former presenter of the France 2 morning show that the latter made her debut on the small screen. “There were many notable encounters, but the one who gave me my real chance was William Leymergie of course.”she confided to Nathalie Levy.
Asked about the possibility of a new collaboration with whoever is at the helm William at noon (C8), Sophie Davant then made it known that she was not against it while qualifying her response: “Yes of course, I think we would have fun”, she first declared. And added: “Today it would amuse us, but only today. A few years ago, it wouldn’t have amused me at all because I grew up alongside him, I was his spiritual little sister, you could say, we were very close friends and then well afterwards, he I had to free myself from this sponsorship”she explained.

We argued a lot
If today, Sophie Davant has completely emancipated herself from her mentor, the essential face of the small screen wanted to remind us that this had not always been obvious. “When the student started to go beyond the limits that William had tried to impose, it was difficult.
