Quebecer Sophiane Méthot won the bronze medal in trampoline on Friday at the Paris Olympic Games.
Méthot, from Varennes, collected 55.650 points for his routine in the final, allowing him to climb onto the third step of the podium.
The athlete who will celebrate his 26th birthdaye birthday on Saturday was beaten by Britain’s Bryony Page (56.480) and neutral individual athlete Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya (56.060).
Page won bronze at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.
