In a press release published Thursday, March 30, the High Authority for Health (HAS) recommends that “Vaccination against Covid-19 is strongly recommended” for health professionals. The HAS therefore encourages the lifting of the vaccination obligation for caregivers. Since September 2021, all health professionals must attest to a complete vaccination schedule, under penalty of being suspended.
The government measure had the effect of a bomb
The measure was put in place by the government. Quickly, it had the effect of a bomb, causing the outcry of many caregivers. “I will follow the advice of this scientific authority”, indicated for his part François Braun, the Minister of Health, in reaction to the press release from the HAS. The government should therefore record the return of unvaccinated caregivers. Today, approximately 4,000 hospital staff do not have a complete vaccination schedule.
