A podcast during which Hélène Ségara also mentioned her friend Maurane who died in 2018 following a serious fall which caused internal bleeding. “She was someone I was friends with for years. She was at my wedding, she shared my life. She was someone who was deeply human and in all her excesses too”she remembered.
Very moved, the singer added: “I could never have imagined that it would end like this. It was quite unimaginable. I’ve lost a few friends in this business, but I think she’s really missed in the musical landscape because she was a voice apart. She was a person who sang with all her soul and all her heart.
