some columnists forced to leave the set at the request of the singer

At 64 years old and after having shone as a singer and composer but also a writer and actor, Francis Lalanne launches into humor! The artist has indeed announced his intention to go on stage for a new show alongside… Dieudonné! This Wednesday, February 8, 2023, he was thus present on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” to justify his choice to collaborate with the controversial comedian, known for his questionable remarks towards the Jewish community and several times condemned for “racist insult “.
Francis Lalanne guest of “Touche pas à mon poste”: columnists forced to leave the set
“I think it’s a good idea, because there’s still something to be said, he’s a huge artist, a huge comedian…” said Francis Lalanne live on C8, after insisting that Dieudonné is not anti-Semitic and after revealing that he is currently on his way to ask for forgiveness from the Jewish community.

If Francis Lalanne had sworn that he would never set foot on the show “Touche pas à mon poste”, especially after his last chaotic passage during which Cyril Hanouna had a huge laugh, the singer finally changed his mind and agreed to return, but on several conditions. The singer has indeed requested that some of the columnists, namely Gilles Verdez, Raymond Aabou, Géraldine Maillet, Danielle Moreau, Bernard Montiel and Valérie Bénaïm not be present on the set. They thus had to wait behind the scenes and were only able to resume their seats after the guest had left.

“It was unworthy”
Back on the set, the excluded columnists did not fail to comment on this scandalous decision. “I thought you were very good, I didn’t understand that my columnist friends don’t go out and don’t show solidarity with the group and apart from that, I thought it was unworthy” said Geraldine Maillet.

It was then the turn of Bernard Montiel, also excluded from the set to express his feelings: “He talks about faith and forgiveness but obviously it’s variable geometry, so I don’t care what he says. Too bad, he’s a beautiful artist but the man is not very interesting. When to Dieudonné, I don’t believe in his forgiveness at all”.
