Solidarity with Ukraine, success of “Mortelle Adèle” and long live horse riding

Like every week, “Hi news!” tells the news from a child’s perspective, a podcast produced by Franceinfo and the magazine Astrapi.

This week, the program returns to the situation in Ukraine, to take stock of the conflict and its consequences: negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, refugees fleeing the fighting… and a surge of solidarity in France and around the world.

This news can be very worrying for children. They hear a lot about it around them or they see images of it on television. At the microphone of “Hi the info!”, Elsa says for example that she fears a “Third World War.” Injustice, fear, stress, sadness… In our “We tell each other everything” section, psychologist Nadège Larcher gives children advice on how to manage all these emotions.

In this episode, “Hi news!” investigated a completely different topic. A little hint: it’s a little girl, a super funny but totally… unsympathetic comic book heroine! Fans will have guessed: it is Deadly Adele. Comics, songs and now an exhibition, at the Angoulême festival (March 17 to 20)… How to explain the success of Mortelle Adèle? Remy ofAstrapi conducted the survey with three young fans.

To keep smiling, the podcast also offers children the opportunity to listen to three new jokes… and to discover the joyful passion of Zoë, 12, for horse riding. An activity that simply makes her happy. So saddle up and have a good listen!
