Everywhere in France, volunteers organize themselves to deliver equipment and basic necessities. They show solidarity with the Ukrainians who had to flee their country urgently.

The Ukrainians received water, food, bandages, syringes and even bulletproof vests. 140 km further south, in the village of Nantua (Ain), solidarity is organized differently. “This is an apartment that belongs to the municipality, which we will make available to a family of Ukrainian refugees. The apartment can accommodate at least six people. People who are in danger today in Ukraine, and whom we welcome with a lot of solidarity and a lot of fraternity“, explains the mayor of the village.
