Solid, JS Cherbourg made short work of Strasbourg (26-16)

Two weeks after its defeat against the leader of Proligue, JS Cherbourg found the way to victory this Friday against the penultimate of Proligue, Strasbourg. Les Mauves won 26-16 head and shoulders against Strasbourg for the 9th day of Proligue.

The first period got off to a flying start for the Mauves (4-0, 5th). Then the Manchois saw the Alsatians come back (6-4, 15th). Overall, during this first act, the attacks were not at the party (including a 2-2 in 17 minutes!): Clumsiness, well-inspired goalkeepers (6 saves for Gauthier Ivah in 30 minutes) and amounts thwarted the attempts of both teams. Without trembling, JS Cherbourg took the lead at half-time (11-5, 30th).

A second one-sided period

In the second half, the Mauves managed their lead. The two Cherbourg keepers continue to disgust the Alsatians, and the public vibrates at each stop. The Cherbourg residents increase their lead (19-8, 45th), and quickly put an end to the suspense over the outcome of the meeting against very weak Strasbourg residents. “Normandy is white and mauve “ can we hear in the stands. The game accelerates a little ten minutes from the end, but the JSC continues its one-sided game (23-13, 54th) until the final whistle (26-16, 60th).

A first well-controlled Alsatian meeting against Strasbourg, before going to the land of Sélestat, one of the heavyweights of the championship, next Friday.
