A soldier from Operation Sentinelle was stabbed while patrolling the Gare de l’Est in Paris, announced Gérald Damarnin on Monday July 15 on X. “His life is not in danger.”said the Interior Minister, specifying that a suspect “was arrested”. The soldier was injured in the shoulder, a police source told franceinfo.

The suspect in the knife attack was already known for murder in a case dating back to 2018, franceinfo learned from a police source.
