“1pm in France” takes you to meet Lucky, a Malinois shepherd who has just won the dogs trophy, in the “explosives dogs” category. This dog soldier participates in several delicate operations, with his master.
Each year, more than 1,500 dogs take part in various missions on land, in the air, or at sea. This year, a dog jumped over 7,000 meters above sea level. Much more than an achievement, it is a world first. These animals are especially sought after for their superhuman olfactory capacities which save many lives.
Lucky is a member of the Air and Space Army Special Forces commandos. He is often called upon to participate in perilous missions. He and his master have been working together for five years and have developed a fusional and fraternal friendship. In a year, the Belgian Malinois shepherd will complete his mission within the team, after having received several awards thanks to several heroic acts, including the discovery of an explosive device in a school trapped by terrorists. He will be remembered by his teammates as a hero.
