The day after his victory at Star Academy 11, Pierre Garnier is already unanimous, in the stores and on the Web. The singer of “Those we were”, who is preparing an acoustic version of his potential hit, already has all the makings of a star of French song. And if he received wise advice from Vitaa, his godmother, or from Dadju, who encouraged him to sing his own composition during the final, a former Star Ac added her little grain of salt…
“To work. Work hard. That’s really the only advice I could give.“
This is Sofia Essaïdi, a student at Star Academy 3, who preferred to become an actress over the years, after an express career in music. To our colleagues from Télé Loisirs, she explained about Pierre: “I looked a little and he really amazed me. When you watch him sing, you know he is already an artist. Its success does not surprise me. He deserves. He really deserves it. He is great. Pierre has it all: talent, humility, presence, presence”.
And with her experience, she allowed herself to give him a little advice on how to break into the profession and last. Sofia Essaïdi indeed felt that the most important thing was to “Work. Work hard. That’s really the only advice I could give. The Star Academy is just a small gateway to arriving in this profession. To last, you have to work, be serious and not have the impression that you have reached the end because you did the Star Academy. It’s only the beginning. A wonderful beginning but just a beginning. Everything remains to be done. In this profession, if you don’t work, you don’t move forward.”
He will record his first album
Good news, that’s exactly what Pierre plans to do. He who pocketed 100,000 euros with his trophy already wants to treat himself to a new guitar to be able to return to the studios as quickly as possible, in order to record his first album, with… who knows… perhaps a collaboration with Angele, at which he made a beautiful statement.
