After Stéphane Plaza, it is the turn of another famous host to be the subject of legal action… Since Saturday November 18, 2023, Sébastien Cauet has in fact been the target of a complaint for rape. A 25-year-old young woman accuses the former host of The Cauet Method
of having raped her twice: once in 2014 in Geneva (Switzerland) when she was 16 years old, and a second time in 2022, in Paris.
Accusations which shocked the radio host who wasted no time in speaking out on the Web. “I will not be on the air today, in agreement with NRJ”he announced on November 22, 2023 via his X account.
“I am tested by the accusations, not only ignominious but above all false, which are brought against me. I have proof of my innocence, my lawyers will refer it to the Nanterre Public Prosecutor’s Office. I will fight against this lamentable destabilization enterprise.”also assured the 51-year-old man while the day before, Tuesday November 21, the newspaper L’Obs revealed that six women in total accused him of rape, sexual assault or inappropriate behavior.

Gilles Verdez assured that Cauet had the support of his other half Nathalie Dartois, this Friday, November 24, 2023, the host shared a photo with the latter via his Instagram account.
A photo that the latter captioned as follows: “So many messages of love received. Thank you, we love you very much.”
