Environment Canada has warned Winnipeggers to be prepared for severe winter weather beginning Tuesday night, including up to 50 cm of snow and wind gusts of up to 70 km/h, which will greatly affect visibility.

The game will be postponed to 1er May, in the afternoon.

The league said the storm could not only force the game to be postponed, but also prevent safe travel after the game.

The WHL has also decided to postpone a game between the Winnipeg Ice and the Regina Pats scheduled for Thursday at Wayne Flemming Arena in Winnipeg. The new date for this meeting has not yet been announced.
