Snowstorm Hits Northeastern United States

(New York) A snowstorm hit much of the northeastern United States overnight from Thursday to Friday, crippling air and road transport and schools already disrupted by the epidemic in the morning of COVID-19.

From the White House in Washington to the northeastern states bordering Canada, the snow cover is in some places more than one foot thick, such as in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, in the states of New England, according to the AccuWeather weather site.

Pictures of postcards, the famous Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square in the heart of New York were covered with snow in the early morning, in a rare silence in the metropolis of nine million people.
