Snowshoeing under the moon and fondue in a shelter in Tremblant

Outdoor enthusiasts, gourmets, foodies and those who like to walk in winter will be delighted to learn that the Mont Tremblant ski resort offers an experience combining snowshoeing and dinner in a refuge.

The activity begins in the middle of the afternoon with the ascent of Mont Tremblant aboard the gondola. It continues, from the summit, with a 2-kilometer guided snowshoe hike to reach the Versant Soleil refuge.

This is where a cheese fondue awaits you, the winter dish par excellence: bread, potatoes, vegetables, salad and an assortment of artisanal sausages and old-fashioned ham, all accompanied by wine (the equivalent of half a bottle per person). This hearty meal ends with chocolate fondue and fresh fruit.

However, you will need to save some energy to go back down the mountain to the pedestrian village. A nighttime descent, lit only by headlamp or by the moon, of around 3 kilometers.

It is possible to borrow poles and a headlamp, while the package also includes snowshoe rental.
