Snow forecast all day

Snowflakes to start the week: five centimeters of snow are expected in certain regions of southern Quebec on Monday, according to Environment Canada.

These snowfalls are expected in the regions of Lanaudière, Estrie, Lac-Saint-Jean, Laurentides, Mauricie and Quebec. “Accumulations of more than five centimeters, mainly on high ground, are expected today in these areas,” specifies Environment Canada.

This first snow of the season could complicate travel for motorists. “Adapt your driving to changing road conditions,” warns Environment Canada.

These accumulations should end on Tuesday in most areas. However, temperatures will remain cold, below the 5°C mark in the majority of southern regions of the province.
