Taxi drivers plan to carry out a snail operation on Monday January 29 in several cities in France, the France Bleu network reported on Sunday. They are demanding a withdrawal of the agreement between their profession and the National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam) on medical transport.

This agreement – published in the Official Journal at the beginning of January and which must come into force on February 1 – is not yet detailed but it notably modifies the prices for covering patient transport costs. Today, a taxi driver makes a “discount” of 20% of the fare to social security. Taxis do not know what discounts or prices they will apply for these convoys which, especially in rural areas, constitute the bulk of resources for many drivers.

Between 500 and 800 taxis are expected on the Bordeaux ring road

According to France Bleu Gironde, between 500 and 800 taxis are expected on the ring road of Bordeaux Monday morning. The Gironde taxis will be joined by their colleagues from Charente-Maritime, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées-Atlantiques before leaving on the ring road. After this action, the taxis will meet in the city center, at the Prefecture where a delegation from each department must be received from 3 p.m. HAS Toulouse, taxis plan to mobilize for the third time, from 6 a.m., to block Blagnac airport. Operations in the south, notably in Marseille and Nice

The motorways affected are the A7, the A55 and the A50. Taxis will again go to the prefecture. Static gatherings are also planned at the TGV stations of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille St-Charles and should complicate access.

In Toulon, already blocked last Wednesday, three meeting points are announced Monday morning from 6:30 a.m. The taxis will go in procession to the Cpam in Toulon. HAS Nimes, a rally is planned for 6:30 a.m. this Monday, at the Costières stadium. The convoy, from 7 a.m., plans to reach Montpellier, report France Bleu Gard Lozère and France Bleu Hérault.

Operations also planned for Cannes, a first convoy will leave around 7 a.m. Monday from Cannes Mandelieu airfield. Vehicles will proceed at a walking pace on the A8 motorway towards the prefecture, via the “Airport” exit, reports France Bleu Azur. HAS Nice, at the same time, from the Saint-Georges district another procession will drive slowly on the A8 motorway from Nice Est, to the same “Airport” exit, in the direction of the Alpes-Maritimes departmental administrative center. The two convoys will converge towards the Cpam headquarters, avenue du Roi-Robert, via Mathis route.

Disturbances from 9 a.m. in Lyon

HAS Lyon, at the call of trade union organizations, a taxi demonstration is planned for Monday in the form of snail operations and filtering points, announces the prefecture. All between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. In the Dromea rally with distribution of leaflets is planned in Valence, at the departmental council level, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In the Loire, taxis will leave Roanne at 5 a.m., before passing through Montbrison and Montrond-les-Bains. Meet at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium at 7 a.m. to go to the Primary Health Insurance Fund in Chateaucreux. In Haute-Loire, two meetings are planned at 7 a.m.: at the baraques roundabout in Cussac-sur-Loire to the south of Puy-en-Velay and to the east near Blavozy. A snail operation in Tours

In Ile-de-France, the town of Haudricourt in Yvelines, announces a taxi demonstration this Monday on the A13 from 6 a.m. between the Les Mureaux and Poissy exits.
