SM Caen striker Nuno Da Costa suspended two games, one of which is closed

For having committed two faults this Saturday, each punishable by a yellow card, Nuno Da Costa will be suspended for two games, one of which will be suspended. The decision was formalized in the disciplinary committee on Thursday, five days after his expulsion during the Sochaux match – SM Caen (3-2).

A single yellow card would have been enough to keep him out of the field anyway due to too many warnings.

The weed attacker will therefore miss this Monday’s match against AC Ajaccio when he found his marks in the attack of the Rouge et Bleu. Over the last eight days, Cape Verdean, on loan from Nottingham Forest scored three goals and made one assist.

Stade Malherbe Caen is not the only victim of the severity of Mr. Aurélien Petit during this meeting. The Sochaliens Yann Kitala and Tony Mauricio, warned of a yellow, will be automatically suspended following a third warning in a period including 10 official competition matches.
