On Thursday October 26, Slovakia announced the cessation of arms deliveries to Ukraine. “We are Slovakia and we must look at this conflict from the perspective of our own interests, namely security. This war is not ours, we have absolutely nothing to do with it”has declared Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia.

kyiv can always count on the support of Denmark

Despite the withdrawal of aid from Slovakia, kyiv can count on the support of Denmark. The Scandinavian country will provide military equipment for an amount of around 500 million euros. Tanks, armored vehicles and drones are included.

The surge in military spending has been validated in Russia. The 2024-2026 budget bill was approved at first reading by Russian deputies, providing for an increase of almost 70%. They will reach 106 billion euros in 2024.
