A true star of the 1980s, notably thanks to his duet with Peter, Sloane visibly seems to want to forget this period. Indeed, the singer, now 66 years old, was visiting Jordan de Luxe this Tuesday, October 31, 2023 and did not fail to step up to the plate when her ex-companion was mentioned by the journalist.
“It’s a photo that I don’t want to see anymore. I don’t want to see Peter anymore. We have to cut the photo! We’re going to talk about him again and I don’t want to talk about this person”said the artist when Jordan de Luxe displayed a photo of his ex-acolyte on the wall of the show, before continuing: “I know it’s part of the song’s heritage, but I’m having trouble. I’m someone who is traumatized for life even if I got treatment for it, it’s no longer possible for him, I can’t I won’t see even an eye of him anymore. And since I have so many other things to do.”.

Sloane, admiring Carlos
With Peter, Sloane became known in particular thanks to the title Need anything want you, which saw the light of day in 1985. Even if it brought her success, the artist wishes to forget Peter, in particular because of the violence she suffered from him. On the other hand, she obviously does not say the same thing when Jordan de Luxe mentioned another artist, this time very dear to Sloane’s heart: Carlos. The singer, who died on January 17, 2008, misses her greatly as she revealed on set.
“My little Carlos was really like my brother. What love! His wife saw my daughter at three months old”she remembered before talking about Carlos’ liver cancer: “I didn’t even know it. He hid it and he was right. Because he continued to live until the day it stopped but he got to the end. We must not show when we are very bad”. For her, the fact that Carlos chose to hide his illness made it possible to retain a positive and beautiful image of him, in her image.
