(Montreal) Quebecor realized in the third quarter of the current fiscal year a net profit attributable to shareholders of 178.4 million, or $0.76 per share, slightly higher than that of 173.1 million, or $0.71 $ per share reported a year earlier.

During the same period, the revenues of the Quebec telecommunications giant fell from 1.148 billion to nearly 1.144 billion. The largest share was attributable to the Telecommunications sector, which generated third-quarter revenues of 942.2 million compared to 939.5 million last year.
Quebecor’s Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 on each Class A and B share, which will be paid on December 13.
