“Skip the chip” by Thomas Fersen

It is indeed a very beautiful gift for her child. The CD book written, read and sung by Thomas Fersen, is called “Saute la puce” and was released by Editions Margot.

Thomas Fersen, musician in love with the ukulele (which he plays on stage) wrote this lovely novel around the invention of this little instrument. He reveals an extract to us in our podcast.

It’s all sweet and smart. It is also a very nice idea!

The ukulele is one of Thomas Fersen’s favorite instruments which is very often accompanied on stage by this small, modest but very effective instrument. He nicknames him (with a lot of affection, he says!) “The little guitar runt”. Hence the desire to introduce this instrument to young audiences, through the romanticized history of this instrument.

Thomas Fersen interprets with talent all the characters of this musical tale. It’s beautiful, it’s funny, it’s clever. Note the beautiful illustrations by Benoît de Becker, a regular in children’s literature.

In short, we fell in love with “Saute la puce” signed Thomas Fersen and published by Margot éditions.
