In Baltimore (United States), the Francis-Scott-Key bridge, one of the busiest in the city, was broken into several parts. The images stunned the residents when they woke up. In the bay, on the night of Monday March 25 to Tuesday March 26 at 1:28 a.m., the shock woke up residents who were filming the disaster. The Dali, the container flying the Singaporean flag, leaves the port at 12:50 a.m. towards Sri Lanka, but deviates from its trajectory.
Eight workers were still on the bridge
At 1:24 a.m., as the bridge approaches, its lights go out and come back on while vehicles are still traveling on the roadway. The crew sends a distress message for electrical problems. 90 seconds later, the boat crashes into the pillar. The authorities stopped the traffic in time. But on the road, eight workers were repairing potholes. Six men are still missing, two have been rescued, one in serious condition. The members of the ship’s crew were unhurt.
