Six months ago to the day, on October 7, 2023, Israel suffered an unprecedented terrorist attack. It left nearly 1,200 dead in Israel and there are currently still 129 hostages remaining. Hundreds of Israelis demonstrated on Saturday April 6 against Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the music festival scene, there are several bereaved families. Flags are present as well as 364 pickets, one per victim. Six months ago, all these people, who came to dance, were killed in an attack orchestrated by Hamas. These lands have today become a place of memory. According to Israeli officials, 129 people are still detained by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Demonstrations targeting Benyamin Netanyahu

This situation angers tens of thousands of Israelis. They take to the streets of Tel Aviv every day, like on Saturday April 6. They criticize Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for not making the release of the hostages a priority. The body of one of them was found on Saturday by the Israeli army. Others accuse the IDF of having blood on its hands through its actions. A large majority of the country, however, still supports the military operation in Gaza.
