Six guards from the Réau penitentiary center (Seine-et-Marne) were taken into police custody on Tuesday. They are suspected of having “participated in bringing in cell phones, bottles of alcohol or even narcotics”, reports the Melun public prosecutor’s office Thursday March 14. A preliminary investigation was opened after a report from the prison services.
