• A fire which broke out in the afternoon in the town of Aubais, in the Gard, ravaged 350 hectares of vegetation and is not yet fixed this evening, despite the intervention of more than 500 firefighters . Six of them were injured battling the flames. In a press release at 10:30 p.m., the SDIS ensures that the situation is changing “favorably”.

11:13 p.m. : The Gard prefecture communicates on the progress of the fire near Aubais. At the last tally, the fire ravaged 350 hectares of vegetation, burned a tank truck (due to a sudden change in the direction of the wind). “The fire is in favorable evolution, but is not fixed”writes the SDIS 30.

7:41 p.m. : #intervention The firefighters have been working since 2:57 p.m. for a virulent vegetation fire in the peri-urban area, Clapas de Cornut road in the municipality of BEAUCAIRE. Result: 3 people slightly injured including a firefighter. 15 hectares destroyed + 2 houses + a garage.
