A small private jet crashed in California early Saturday morning and its six occupants, whose identities are unknown, were found dead, authorities said.

The plane, a Cessna C550, crashed around 4:15 a.m. local time near Murrieta airport, southeast of Los Angeles, the US Civil Aviation Authority (FAA) told AFP. , who is taking part in the investigation.
