Six persons lodged a complaint with the police stations of Grenoble and Saint-Ismier, in Isère, for potential injections received during parties, announced the public prosecutor of Grenoble on Tuesday April 19 in a press release. The victims, four women and two men, are between 17 and 22 years old.
These complainants say they have been “victims of stings that caused discomfort” during evenings in nightclubs (Le Marquee and Le Lamartine) or during a concert at the sports hall of Grenoble, specifies the public prosecutor of Grenoble, Éric Vaillant. They have “felt a sting and felt bad”. The events occurred on April 15 and 17.
The victims “went to the hospital for tests. None were victims of rape or sexual assault”, says the prosecutor. The Grenoble public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for the administration of harmful substances.
