This morning, I think I heard the best proposal for us to (finally) start to reduce the use of plastic: banning the use of single-use products. What immediately comes to mind is the bottle of pills! Many times, I asked for my prescription medications to be placed in the bottle I was bringing back. It’s always no. What do you do with it? Recycling. There was a time when my local library collected them for a second use. But this program did not last. It would be so simple. Some people would tell me that with renewals by telephone, it is impossible. I understand. Ultimately, how are we going to get out of this?
