Single island and co-construction of housing on the Quai Deschamps in Bordeaux

The King Kong and Leibar-Seigneurin agencies! At the beginning, each agency had to design their project on half of the block. The architects found it more appropriate to work hand in hand.
The two agencies reflected on the attachment to the existing district of the bastide and on the recommendations of the town planning rules. The buildings will be placed on a base. they will have different heights to stick to the aesthetics of the surrounding buildings and the apartments will benefit from this bias of the designers.
