Relax in front of the Telethon. Singer Mika will be the patron of the charity event for the 2024 edition, which will be held on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30. The Lebanese-British-American artist succeeds singer Vianney, patron of the Telethon in 2023.

“For years, I have understood and watched with admiration the energy deployed by the teams, the volunteers, the public around the Telethon”says Mika in a joint press release from France Télévisions and the AFM-Téléthon association. “Research is progressing and children are living thanks to everyone’s extraordinary work”he adds.

The 2023 edition raised nearly 93 million euros. It mobilized more than 200,000 volunteers and was held in more than 10,000 municipalities. “Many thanks to all the donors, volunteers, partners, artists, presenters and teams of France Télévisions, and to our sponsor, Vianney, who made this Telethon 2023 a success”rejoiced Laurence Tiennot-Herment, president of AFM-Téléthon, at the time.
