Singer Aya Nakamura and her ex-husband Vladimir Boudnikoff were sentenced Thursday, February 23 by the Bobigny criminal court to a fine of 10,000 and 5,000 euros for “reciprocal violence on spouse” dating from August 2022.

The judge of the 12th correctional chamber went beyond the requisitions in her decision. During the trial, on January 26, the prosecutor had requested a fine of 5,000 euros for the artist, 2,000 euros for his former companion.

The lawyers and defendants were absent at the time of deliberation. For the time being, no details have been given regarding a possible appeal.

A dispute in several acts

Present during the trial, the ex-spouses returned to the stormy night of August 6 to 7, 2022 in Rosny-sous-Bois, near Paris, where they lived with their 6-month-old daughter. At the origin of the crisis, jealousy and a marriage to which the singer was not invited, unlike her spouse.

The argument took place in several acts. Screams erupted, objects flew and physical violence was committed in the music studio located in the basement. “He started getting more and more angry, hugging me, he was trying to calm me down in his own way.”, had declared the singer. She admitted giving him a slap that unsettled Vladimir Boudnikoff and knocked him to the ground.

Vladimir Boudnikoff, for his part, recognized a lack of calm, especially when Aya Nakamura returned later in the evening to collect things, accompanied by two friends. By “fear” facing these men he does not like, he points a dummy weapon at them. Since then, the couple has been separated, but has maintained a good relationship in the interest of his daughter.
