Antoine Gélinas-Beaulieu and teammates Connor Howe and Hayen Mayeur cover themselves in silver in the team pursuit of the Long Track Speed Skating World Cup in Calgary.
Going into the second duel of the day on Friday, the Canadian trio stopped the clock at 3:36.485, which was good for the provisional first place.
The Americans were the only ones to go faster than the Canadians and took the top step of the podium. The Norwegians took the bronze medal.
This is the first medal of the season for Gélinas-Beaulieu in the World Cup.
