Mr. St-Pierre Plamondon’s team informed the journalists following his caravan in the morning that he was bedridden due to severe flu-like symptoms. So far, his tests for COVID-19 are negative, but he “doesn’t want to take any chances.”

It therefore cancels its participation in the Annual Congress of the Quebec Federation of Municipalities and in the “Global Strike for Climate Justice” demonstration, organized by La Planète s’invite au Parlement.

After spending two hours debating with the other party leaders on Thursday evening, Mr. St-Pierre Plamondon returned to his hotel in Longueuil, where he began to experience strong flu symptoms during the night, including fever, but no cough, said his press officer, Laura Chouinard-Thuly.
