(Montreal) Musician Eric Clapton, who has often criticized health restrictions and vaccines against COVID-19, contracted the virus and had to cancel two shows in Europe.

The shows scheduled for Zurich and Milan this week will be postponed.
The 77-year-old rocker tested positive after performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 8.
Eric Clapton has been skeptical of COVID-19 vaccines in the past. He received two doses of the vaccine from AstraZeneca, but claims to have had “serious side effects”.
